No sieve. Turned out beautiful, though. (Except for the batch that turned out runny- not sure what to do with those yet).
One suggestion for the jam that did not "set up" is to use it for topping pancakes or ice cream. I have used runny strawberry jam that way and it is yummy. Letitia
